Welcome to Ouri Fine Jewelry Design Ltd.!
My name is Chera Kim, CEO and Creative Director at Ouri. Ouri was born out of my love for small, delicate objects, as well as my desire to create meaningful treasures of our lives. Ouri started as a graduation project during my Jewelry Arts and Design program at VCC, where we were tasked with creating business cards, a mock-website, and demo-launching our brand online. And next thing you know, I legally incorporated and officially launched Ouri Fine before I graduated. Since then, Ouri has quickly become my life, my identity, and my way of exploring my ‘purpose of existence’.
Coming from Psychology background, I was initially drawn to jewelry design as a means of expression and self-discovery. With the help of my education in gemmology and jewelry design, I created a brand that focuses on intimate designing and consultation processes, education-backed sourcing and construction, while partnering with like-minded contractors and gem dealers from all over the world to create very customized jewelries that our clients now wear and live with everyday.
in-house designer consultation, custom gem cutting/sourcing, expert production teams, to legal appraisals, all for your custom jewelry goals.
All Ouri fine jewelries are created to last, and therefore they are recommended to be taken in by our production house for free annual cleaning and inspection regularly. Repairs on damaged pieces can be operated with a small charge, depending on the circumstances.
Heirloom fine jewelries can be remade into something you want to cherish in your way, while maintaining the essence of who and where they are from. This can be a small repair job or a full face-lift.
